My name is Rogelio T. Gloria. I am running for U.S. Senator 2012. I have experience as a U.S. NAVAL OFFICER who has served during Desert Shield/Storm and Iraq Freedom. I also have Federal Experience. We as a state have exhibit what I saw during the first Iraq War; fear of the unknown and what lies ahead. We are afraid of change even from bad of today to the good of tomorrow. We are afraid of losing what little we have and hold on. The Republican have a plan.
Overall, in the last two decades, gas prices have historically been higher than the national average under our present U.S. Senators. Capitalism is actually making more money by producing more product and sell at affordable per unit price (FORD MODEL). Communism and dictatorships have shortages and high prices such as gasoline. Under a Capitalism system, gas prices should be $2.95 in 2012 if the administration had followed the non greedy/non socialist experts' advice since 1991.
Gas prices under our system is $4.93 or greater. There may be a dip in gas prices to fool the stupid as US elections are nearing. Where did the money go? Job growth is way down. Our national security and gross national product is at jeopardy because our large container ships, jets and vehicle still run on gasoline. I have yet to see a electrical jet which is not federally funded yet. Certain Democratic Divisions for one reason or another have caused this problem of the worst turn over between Democratic administrations (i.e... CLINTON to OBAMA) in US history. Obviously, Obama did not inherit "the talent" of Clint's era and attracted all the wrong types of people who cannot or will not work as a team or work with the Republicans. The Republican are just caught in the middle of a civil war within the Democratic Party.
During the 1970's oil shortages, our investments in alternative energy is way too slow to really matter today. Again drastic matters have to be taken such as closing down the Department of Energy. It will solve two problems: Cut the budget and forces an realignment of our energy policy to include all sources of crude oil. California cannot on rely on one prospected source such as the Keystone Pipeline which will be finished in the distance future. We need the oil now. Many of the function DOE has is already being duplicated in Department of Defense and federal agencies. Many of "smart people" who started DOE (based on nuclear energy) have long retired several decades ago. These are the same people who brought gas prices in California from $6.00 to below $1.00 in the mid 1970s as well as nuclear energy. The people at DOE are causing the problems such as associated with our nuclear power plant, San Onofre; where did the preventative maintenance and inspection money go to? The present California administration at US Senate has taken advantage of our fear and may have caused fear.

Democracy and California
The two U.S. Senators for any state are major leaders and mentors for legislation in Congress. California is divided into 53 Congressional districts. Each district elects a representative to serve in the United States House of Representatives as part of the California's congressional delegation. California's current districts have been in place since 2003. California's two senators, who are among of most senior senators on Capital Hill, have been in office more than two terms and are eligible for retirement. During a recent doctor's appointment at the Veterans Affair hospital, one returning veteran stated that redistricting prevents people for running for office. Another stated "we are a state who has representation by a generation who, "just because" they are "old" and served in a losing war; don’t deserve to run this state and therefore manipulate the laws and regulation to benefit their generation." Yet, another stated "What happened when I came back?" "You have to be tall and above 6' 4"" said another.
Perhaps, the most disturbing statement came from a veteran who felt that California elections are fixed and the people who are running don't truly represent a majority of Californians nor are "they" tall. I started my campaign in 2012. By no means is it fixed, I just have to play catch up and I also have to develop a election infrastructure to support my campaign.
First, we must stop this confusion of democracy and align the Congressional districts to counties or counties to Congressional districts. Would this streamline bureaucracy and provide equal representation within California? The 2010 Census is an unbiased look at populations and demographics from an official source. While no recent studies have been developed or researched by universities in our state, a lot of problems have been documented.
One recent blog statement on my Facebook page stated "If I thought my vote mattered in Federal or State elections, I'd care. As it is, I'm nothing more than a disenfranchised conservative in a crazy blue state." This is disheartening to say the least. Neither America.-nor California are places where one vote does not matter. California was not built on the dollar but on the sweat, tears and hard work of early pioneers from all walks of life. The dollar is a representation of the goods and services from people and by people. It is only legal tender and represents both the past and present. However, its value for the future is determined on what we as Californians decide to do or not do. Therefore, every vote does counts. Every candidate also counts in initiating, directing and forecasting our futures. Some will win and some will lose.
There is no pecking order to be elected or fix elections in California to be U.S. Senator or any other elected official. There are only good people who are working hard to purse their happiness in a legal manner. However, there are a growing number of disenfranchised Americans who see that the U.S. election system as being tainted and corrupt, which is the one of the root causes; why many Americans are falling below a reasonable standard of living. The number one reason is the economy. I assure you, that we as a great state will weathered this bad storm; a political, social and economic storm caused by bad decisions, laws and regulations. Your vote can change that disturbing trend. We are not a blue state or a red state; we are California.
Naturally, as a former U.S. Naval Officer and a good man, I can not stand by and do nothing.
Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein is a senior United States Senator from California. As a member of the Democratic Party, she has served in the Senate since 1992. She also served as 38th Mayor of San Francisco from 1978 to 1988. However, there appears to be a lack of democratic continuity legislative knowledge from the Clinton presidency to the Obama presidency. During the Clinton era, the U.S. saw a huge surplus, as opposed to the Obama era, in which we now have the largest deficit in U.S. History. It was not all Obama’s fault.
As a freshman or junior Senator, Mrs. Feinstein failed to observe “successful history.” Therefore, she helped shape the atmosphere for the members of Congress and passed legislation that prevents a desirable outcome of a balance budget in 2012. This is not what the majority of the American people wants; not having answers or solutions to the growing federal deficit. In Congress, education and training is a lifelong process of learning to pass successful legislation and avoid failed legislation from senior to junior, from the incumbent to freshman. Therefore, to ensure the process returns to its normal integrity and validity, Senator Feinstein should not be re-elected. She failed to mentor our upcoming junior leaders on what works, and how not to develop undesirable legislated patterns. In addition, while Senator Feinstein has dedicated her life to the state of California, she is truly deserving of a rest. Such change is healthy and allows the democracy to prosper. Californians need to wake up from the stupor of despair, hopelessness and indifference and act by voting for a republican candidate based on ability, background and potential versus image and the status quo.
Support Rogelio T. Gloria. He has learned and developed many of the best processes, practices and applications from the Reagan and Bushs’ Eras as well as from the Clinton and Obama presidencies. The United States is at critical junction point in history, where your vote counts. If you have any questions, please contact us.
